Suzuki Memphis and Pasadena

Full size Acoustic Dreadnought.

The wide body and distinctive ‘square shoulder’ design of the Suzuki Memphis and Pasadena provides the owner with a bass heavy sound perfect for accompanying a vocal performance. The Solid Spruce top and Mahogany Back and Sides of the Memphis deliver a beautifully warm and resonant tone, whilst maintaining a crystal clear high end important to the more subtle player. The Rosewood back and sides of the Pasadena project the sound, making for a veritable acoustic explosion.

The one piece Mahogany neck and Rosewood fingerboard is one of the fastest available and sits comfortably on the fourteenth fret. The Machine head is Chromed and the ivory coloured body binding and rosette are embellished with genuine Mother Of Pearl shell inlay right around the guitar and across the two piece back. Classic looking Red Tortoise shell scratch plate enhances the natural finish top and deep shine of the Mahogany or Rosewood.

The Suzuki Memphis and Pasadena provide the guitarist with an incredibly rich bass response and a clarity and pureness of tone normally associated with only the most expensive of guitars.

The Houston is Suzuki's 'Flagship' Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric. The neck is straight and true, the action fast and accurate. Using materials tried and tested in guitar making over the years (Spruce top, Mahogany back, sides and neck, rosewood fingerboard), the Houston offers the quality and clarity of a Suzuki Dreadnought, but with the ability to plug into an amplifier. The on board pickup and 4 band E.Q. allow for an incredible variety of acoustic options and give the guitarist complete control over his or her style of play.

Suzuki well understands the importance of looking good as well as sounding good and so this model is finished in beautiful Natural Spruce or High Gloss Black and Ivory with highly polished machine heads. Certainly a guitar to be proud of.

Suzuki Mississippi Delta

Full Sized, Round Body Acoustic - Electric cutaway.

The Suzuki Mississippi Delta is a Round Bodied steel guitar with cutaway. A design reminiscent of Gypsy Jazz instruments popular in Europe and the pioneering electro acoustics from the USA in the 40s. The comfortable, well proportioned spruce and Mahogany body coupled with an interesting oval soundhole set this guitar apart from others. It benefits from a clear tone when played acoustically, however the Mississippi Delta comes into its own when amplified via the on-board pickup and 5 band E.Q. The body and soundhole design mean low feedback and strength of sound delivery through a PA system. This is very much for the live guitarist or for the musician searching for a unique sound and look all of their own.
