1989 - Like the SKY, the mini ROSE was based on the 'City' and only 500 were built. It has Diamond White bodywork and is Pretty in Pink with its pastel Rose pink roof, bonnet emblem and side/rear decals and grey/pink pin stripes. The plastic hub caps are Diamond White as the SKY. Exterior trim is grey, which included bumpers, handles and mirrors.

The Rose's interior trim matched the soft exterior colours, with grey Crayons fabric seats complementing the lighter grey interior, and a factory fitted stereo radio/cassette player. 

Interestingly, the log book for both models shows "Mini Sky Rose", probably making paperwork easier for this small model run, however restoration can be a little tricky if the paint has been removed. Cost when new was the same as the SKY - £4,695 

The mini Rose really is a "girly" car, and are the pride and joy of their owners. If you are lucky enough to own a Rose, you don't need to be told to take care of it - you probably treat it better than your favorite shoes...or even your boyfriend!
